About the Event

As part of the Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character and Leadership, the Organizational Leadership Series will host Teatime with Cindi Bigelow, president and CEO of Bigelow Tea, in conversation with Family Business Club's AVP of Alumni & Mentorship Wangene Hall '24. The discussion will focus on Cindi's unique leadership style cemented in strong ethical business practices and corporate citizenship, as well as her intentional focus on fostering a positive and optimistic organizational culture that has been a hallmark of the brand for the past 78 years.  Registration is required, and the event will be held at Columbia Business School.

About Cindi Bigelow

Cindi Bigelow is the 3rd generation President and CEO of family-owned Bigelow Tea, the U.S. market leader of specialty tea that produces more than 2 billion tea bags annually. She holds a BS degree from Boston College, an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, and Honorary Doctorates from Johnson & Wales University, the University of New Haven, and Fairfield University, as well as an Honorary Associate Degree from Housatonic Community College.

Socially and community-minded, Cindi frequently makes appearances speaking to students and industry leaders, sharing insights on business ethics, leadership, and marketing, and has received numerous awards for her years of community service. Favorite pastimes include skiing, tennis, taking long walks, being with her children and friends, and, of course, drinking lots and lots of tea.
