As part of the Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character and Leadership, the Organizational Leadership Series will host Marie Oh Huber, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of eBay. The discussion titled, Insomnia Topics for Chief Legal Officers, will focus on Marie's leadership role at eBay and how it has been shaped by her business, legal, public policy, and philanthropic experiences from throughout her career. Discussion will be moderated by Professor Avery Katz. Lunch will be provided for those who attend and the discussion will take place in JG Annex. About Marie Oh Huber
Marie Oh Huber is a C-suite level leader with over 25 years of strategic business, legal and public policy experience in three global Fortune 500 technology, Internet, ecommerce and life sciences companies, working with and advising boards of directors and executive leadership on business and operational matters, M&A, corporate governance, privacy, data governance, ESG, ethics and compliance, IP, litigation, DE&I, labor and employment and cybersecurity matters.
She is Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of eBay Inc., previously served as SVP and General Counsel at Agilent Technologies, where she was also responsible for communications, regulatory/quality and philanthropy. She started her career at HP and at large law firms in New York and San Francisco.
She is a board member of Portland General Electric (NYSE: POR) and Adevinta ASA (ADE.OL), the largest global online classifieds company. She also serves on the University Council at Yale, the board of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, the Northwestern Law Board and recently served on the board of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
Huber has a BA in Economics from Yale, studied at the London School of Economics and received her JD from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She and her husband live in the Bay Area, have two young-adult children and enjoy cycling.
