For its Organizational Leadership Series, the Mark Initiative welcomed Elizabeth D. Moore, retired General Counsel and SVP of Consolidated Edison, Inc., exploring the critical role of the general counsel as an innovative leader within an organization and the impact they have on the organization’s culture. Ms. Moore talked about her career, the major issues she handled on behalf of an energy company, and leadership of a legal department through the creation of a high-performing flexible work culture enabling the recruitment and development of the next generation of diverse lawyers. Ms. Moore was formerly a partner at Nixon Peabody LLP and Counsel to Governor Mario Cuomo.
