Timur Pakay

Directors

Timur is the Director of the Reuben Mark Initiative and J.D./M.B.A. Program at Columbia Law School. Prior to joining  Columbia Law School, Timur was in charge of executive education and online learning initiatives at Columbia Engineering and was heavily involved with the launch of a brand new AI program for executives. With a passion for the intersection of entrepreneurship, leadership, and organizational character, Timur brings his insight from the startup environment, and more recently, from his time as Executive Director of the Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Fairleigh Dickinson University. There, he oversaw many outreach programs, including a veterans entrepreneurship program, business plan competitions, an entrepreneurship teen camp, executive workshops and roundtables, tech meetups, and large scale recognition events. Timur was instrumental in growing programs through fundraising and marketing efforts and worked with his Advisory Board and academic leadership on a new strategic plan for the Institute. 

Timur earned his Bachelor's Degree in French from Boston College and his Master's Degree in Government and Politics from St. John's University. Timur is an avid skier, fluent in French and Turkish, and resides with his family in Riverdale.
